Looking for an UI/UX designer!
We are looking to hire a very talented UI/UX designer for the work on a new collaboration tool called Yanado. Perfect candidate should have an experience in UI/UX design or a burning desire to participate in something big that can make him big too.
Job responsibilities (UI):
- designing pages, dialogs, dashlet, widgets within application
- designing (illustrating) required icon sets and images
- providing ideas on existing design
- preparing the design for developers for integration (preparing fonts, images, colors etc)
Required Skills:
- First and foremost, you should have an excellent eye for design. You should know great web UI when you see it, and be able to explain why it's great.
- You'll need to be a Photoshop ninja. You should also have a black belt in Illustrator, or whatever you use to create images.
- You should have at least a working knowledge of XHTML/CSS (to understand how to provide developers with what they need)
- Jump in quickly without a lot of direction, and learn by asking the right questions.
- Finally, you should have a solid portfolio of <i>web application design</i>. We want to see that you've built great web interfaces before, not just great websites.
- A huge advantage: if a designer can translate his design into css/html!
UX part of the job would be finding the best solutions with the current team to maximize the user experience we are trying to achieve altogether.
